Telepathy

Today I was visiting my beautiful niece in the hospital - looks like she has whooping cough. She's doing well with antibiotics but still a sick little thing. Still somehow manages to be the cutest little person in the history of mankind though...

Prayers for her and her parents would be wonderful :)

It was also my big brother Eric's 23rd birthday! Goodness time flies.
Little story:
I was trying to figure out the actor Bruce Willis' name
So I said to my brother,
Lauren : "you know, the guy in the movie with all the guns?! "bam bam" and lots of swearing!!"
Eric: "Die Hard."

Telepathy at it's finest.

Here's a photo of one month old Scarlett:

Twins.

Today dee came to me and said, "I was sitting in class and thought...I have a twin - and that's pretty cool"

And I agree. There isn't anything quite so awesome as that.

"Guess whose back, back again"

I exist. I promise.

When I said I update once a month at best I suppose I should have mentioned that once a month is code for 2 years...
If you're wondering about the title reference try singing without me by eminem "guess whose back, back again. Shadys back, tell a friend...": don't judge my music choice ;)

I have risen from the dark, dusty depths of loner status (notice the use of alliteration there. yes. it was intentional.) While I would love to say that in the last two years I've become a goddess of literature and my blog posts will be enlightening, stimulating, amusing, and full of literary surprises, it's more likely that you'll quickly begin to question my mental status.
Consider yourself warned.

So what is the deep, dark and dusty depths of lonerhood?
Signs your a loner:
1. Do you spend more time on your laptop than you do socializing with humanity?
         - You and me both my fine friend. We need an intervention.
2. Have your social skills been declining rapidly - to a point where you have the reputation of being socially awkward?
         - Welcome to the club - accept your weirdness! It's inevitable and people will forgive you for it. If possible install a filter in your brain...
3. Are you incapable of talking about anything other than school and everything related to it?
         - I'm going to be honest...a somewhat hard learned fact: no one gives a shit. stop talking about it. :)
4. Would you rather lay on the couch and read a book than go to a social event?
        - Totally! It's a good thing I have a twin to drag me off my ass - or alternatively. Socializing is GOOD! Be brave, BE BOLD!

Oh bloggy blog. How you've been missed.
